- remove the main wheel from the pin
- oil the pin with cooking oil, or clear oil, or baby oil
- replace back
- test the wheel
- if still noisy, repeat steps

Look on youtube for videos of hamsters using them. A good design, really safe, 3 colours and 3 different sizes.
